Ridgewood Open House
You are invited to the Ridgewood Pool suit-fitting party held at Simply Swimming on Thursday, April 28th from 4:00 – 7:00 pm.   You may order your child’s suit and enjoy refreshments. Please note: Because of manufacturer limitations on the number of suits made, the sooner your purchase your suit the better. Suits may still be available later, but we cannot guarantee availability if you order after the Open House. We will send an email to all members when suits are available for purchase at Simply Swimming.

Ridgewood’s Start & Turn Clinic
A shortened version of our annual Stroke Clinic will be offered this season. This gives swimmers an opportunity to improve their skills on two crucial race-elements: starts and turns in preparation for the summer swim season. It’s a bargain at just $15 for Ridgewood members ($25 for non-members). This year, the Clinic is open only to 9-14 year olds – there will be three hour-long sessions on May 31st, June 1st and 2nd. Swimmers from other pools are welcome to attend.

Swim/Dive Team Practice will be held June 6-10, both in the morning and at night to accommodate those still in school. Anyone wishing to participate in the first meet on June 11th should plan to attend.
Added practice times will be available for those swimmers who are in age groups with more people than what is comfortable for each lane to handle. This practice time will take place from 4:00pm-5:30pm. Coaches will determine eligible swimmers. Adult lap swimmers will still have lanes available at that time.

13 & Olders: 7:00 – 8:30am
11-12?s: 8:15 – 9:30am
9-10?s: 9:15 – 10:15am
8 & Unders: 10:00 – 10:45am
Meet the Coaches Meeting at 11:00am.

First Week of Swim Team Practice (June 6-10):
If you are done with school:
13 & olders: 9:00 – 10:30am
11-12′s: 9:00 – 10:30am
9-10′s: 9:00 – 10:00am
8 & Unders: 9:00 – 10:00am

If you are still in school:
8 & Unders: 4:00 – 5:00pm or 3:00-4:00pm Mon. only
9-10′s: 4:45 – 6:00pm
11-12′s: 5:45 – 7:15pm
13 & olders: 7:00 – 8:45pm

13-14’s, 15-18’s:
M, W, F 6:30-8:30am
T, R 8:15-10:00am

11-12’s:

Evening Practice
M-F 4:00-5:30

Third Annual Ridgewood Relays: July 13. All age groups, relays only! We are inviting both City Swim League rivals, and teams from around Dane County. This meet is a lot of fun for everyone, and has raised thousands of dollars for Ridgewood Pool the last two summers – so we ask that all Pool Members participate to help us make this a successful event; doing so will fulfill your general Member Service Requirement.

Home Swim & Dive Meet Volunteers
Ridgewood hosts five home meets this season (including Ridgewood Relays). Parents of all swim team members are required to work in some capacity for at least 3 half-meet sessions, or pay an additional Service Requirement fee of $125. Dive Team families must work at one Dive Meet. There are a variety of job opportunities. The Ridgewood Relay Meet counts toward your General Membership Service Requirement requirement, not toward Swim/Dive Service Requirement. The Service Requirement fee rule will be enforced, but we’d rather have your help than your money!
